My bleach dispenser does not drain/empty during the wash cycle or ever. It appears to be just a dish type device with a hole in the bottom. How does the bleach dispensing "system" work?
ANSWER Hi Thom. Start by pouring sink very hot water into the dispenser hole to insure it is not clogged. Push in on the front clips with a putty knife and lift the top up and back. Then remove the front lower panel screws and lift the front panel off the cabinet panel clips. See if the dispenser and the top assy. is still clipped down correctly on the outer tub. Here's how it works.... Before adding the wash load, add liquid bleach to the bleach dispenser located in the front left corner under the lid: 3/4cup for small loads. 1-cup for large loads. 1-1/4 cup for extra large loads. Then add 1 cup water to flush the dispenser. As then the water fills the tub then it is mixed for the cycle needed. It is all a mechanical direct flow from top to bottom. Make sure it is not clogged. Thank You.
