Do I have to replace the drain pump?
Background: There is water in the tub below the drum and some of the clothes are still after the spin cycle so I checked if there is a clog in hoses both suction and discharge of the pump and there seems none. I run the spin cycle to check if the pump will run and it did. However, there seems not enough pressure that the rubber check valve, sort on the discharge of the pump does even open.
ANSWER Hello Lou,
You will want to check to make sure that there is nothing clogged in the pump and make sure that the vanes are in good shape. If this checks good then you would want to replace the drain pump 137108000.
