There is about 3-4 inches of standing water in the bottom of my dishwasher. I can hear it draining when the new cycle starts but not when the cycle finishes. Where the dishwasher is hooked up there is nothing above the dishwasher. It's hooked directly under the vent cap under the counter, so there is nothing that could have drained into the line. Like I said, I do hear it draining when the new cycle starts. Anyone know what the problem could be?
ANSWER Hello Ann-Marie. Remove the end of the drain hose from under the sink and try draining the dishwasher into a bucket. If the water pressure coming from the drain hose is good, and the unit drains out properly, then we know the drain pump and hose are good on the unit. If the water pressure is weak, or slow, or it starts to drain, then stops, we have a pump A00126501 or hose issue.
