My dishwasher is draining all but about the cup or so of water in the bottom below the screen - as if a check valve isn't preventing water from flowing back into the bottom of the tub. I know the pump is working since I can see water being forced into the garbage disposal. Does this part appears to have a check flap? Can I order just the flap?

ANSWER Hi Michael. Follow your installation instructions about the drain hose routing. Loop it under the sink as high up under the sink as possible and clamp it there (1/2 " conduit clamp and screw). Then taught into the sink drain. Make sure the sink drain has no partial clog where it hooks up. Use dishwasher magic monthly to keep wash levels up. Dish. Magic part # TJ104. Drain pump kit part # 5304463777. They do not sell the flapper check valve separate. Thank You.
