The dryer belt is broken. The dryer still heats up. The tumbler still turns freely by hand. You suggest that the idler arm assy be changed at the same time as your dryer belt...is this necessary or just a good idea? Are these two parts the only things that need changed at this time. My dryer is only humming when I turn it on, is it possible that I have more problems with the dryer then just the dryer belt?
ANSWER Hello Hersh. If the belt is broke, then replace the belt 134503600 and the idler. If the belt is not broke, you will need to replace the motor. Hope this helps.
