Dryer has the same (very low) heat in all switch positions including the "no heat/fluff" position. Tried removing vent in back to make sure no obstructions and still same result. 240 Voltage checks out ok. Even in cool down mode, some heat seems to stay on; can touch back of drum (inside dryer) and is very warm but does not burn hand to touch.
Is this indication of shorted out heating element?
You will want to check the unit for voltage at the heater on air fluff while running. If you have voltage then you will want to check for a grounded heater and if the heater is not grounded then you have either a bad motor switch or control board.
