My dryer has passed all of the diagnostic tests, though when testing the heating element, it doesn't seem to blow very hot. However, when running thru the cycles, it doesn't heat the air at all.
Any reason why the heating element would heat up (a little bit) when running diagnostics, but not when running any cycles?
There have been no error codes.
ANSWER Hello Brian. You need to check and see if the fuses and thermostats and heater test good with a meter. If all is good, you will trace and see where you are loosing power to the heater from. It could be the control or the motor failing in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
