We were trying to grease the dryer belt when the heating element slipped down, we must have unscrewed it by accident. We started the dryer and it sparked now it won't heat up. If we replace the heating element do u think this will resolve the issue or have we broken something else?
ANSWER Hello Ashley. If there is 240 volts coming to the element, and it does not heat, you will need to replace the element on the unit.
