Which heating element to I need, 1/4 or 5/16? Also looking for part number for the foam gasket that goes on front of blower assembly. My heater element literally broke. Prior to that it would sometimes get very hot even on low heat. Would you recommend new thermostat, thermal limiter, and thermistor as well? Unit is 7 years old. Belt and pulley appear fine but rear ball is scored so I will replace bearing. Thanks in advance.
The heater that you will need is part number [AP2107129 and the seal is part 134417000. For the overheating you will want to check the venting to make sure that it is not clogged from the blower all the way to the outside of home.
