My cooktop works on my stove but my oven will not work, I have heard it is the heating element I need to replace.
ANSWER Hello Charles. The first thing you will need to check is the voltage coming to the stove. It should be 240 volts. If it is good, you will need to test the elements 316075104 316199900. They should read closed for continuity. If they are testing good, you will need to check and see if the clock 316455400 is sending power to the elements. If not, it will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
