Long story short,.... Top of the stove works, but the oven stopped working! I pushed the buttons on top of stove and set the temp. ,but no heat. So what do I do now?
ANSWER Hello Karen. Test the bake element 316225001 and make sure it is good. It should read closed for continuity. If it is good, you will want to check across the wires going to the element. With the unit set on bake, you should have 240 volts going to the bake element. If not, you will need to replace the clock assembly 316455420. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
