The large element overheats. Is this an element problem or a sensor issue?

ANSWER Hi Tom. The large left element switch is part # 903136-9020. The dual rt. front element switch is part # 903097-9010. If your switch is shorted thn it will still send power to the element. Rarly is the sensor defective. Thank you.
