Bake element does not work. Tested for continuity, it tested OK. Could it be the thermal switch which is bad? Is there a relay that could be bad, or could it be the clock timer assembly? How does one check the clock timer assembly? By the way the broiler works fine.

ANSWER Hello Robert. You will need to test for power coming from the clock 318010700 to the element in bake mode. If there is no power there, you will need to replace the clock assembly on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
