How do I tell if my heating element is bad? Oven model #gleb30s8csb. Top element gets hot but not the bottom. Bottom element looks ok, no breaks or uneven coloring.
You will want to check to see if you are getting power at the control board. If you check from L1 to bake with the unit turned on the bake setting, you should have 240 vac. If there is 240 vac present then the control board is bad and would need to be replaced. If there is not 240 vac then the you will need to trace back to the element.
