I have had problems with my machine (Frigidaire GLTF2940FS2) not draining, stopping mid cycle. I checked the rubber boot going to the pump that drains the water - cleaned it all out. My guess is my problem might be the door lock assembly - does this sound logical?
Also, the filter shown (AP4298707) is in no way the same as the one I found - mine appears to be solid -
ANSWER Hello Joe. Test for power coming to the drain pump assembly 137221600. If there is power there, and the hoses are clear, and the water does not pump out, you will need to replace the drain pump assembly in the unit. Make sure the filter cup and the hose going to the stand pipe are clear and not clogged. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
