The freezer door gasket is not acting like it wants to hold the door closed. Does not appear as though the door is bent, no obstructions and gasket appears to be making even contact all the way around. Took gasket out and cleaned it and fridge where gasket contacts, and still no adhesion.
Does the gasket have a magnetic strip?
Have no problem purchasing new gasket, just do not want to buy one if there is another solution.
ANSWER Hello Carl,
If the door seal is not seating all the way around then you would need to replace the door seal. If the seal is making contact all the way around and there is frost building up around the inner part of liner then you would want to silicone around the opening between cabinet and inner liner.
