Oven is slow to get to operating temputure say 350. have noticed it reaches 330 than drops rather quickly. Replaced the Probe last week did not correct the problem. I have used the self cleaning and that seems to work proper. At times I do smell it not burning properly Please try and tell me what the problem is.

ANSWER Hello Donald. On a gas range, a slow preheat and not maintaining temperature are signs of a weak igniter 316489400. It sounds like you will need to replace the igniter. Check and see if it takes a while for the gas to lite. If so, you have a weak igniter. Hope this helps.
