The coil on my heating element assembly is broken and needs to be replaced. While I have the dryer apart, do you think I should also replace the thermostat? I dont want a faulty thermostat destroying my new heating element.
ANSWER Hello Bernie. If the thermostat is bad or you suspect it is bad, then this would be the time to replace the thermostat in the unit.
