I have a leak, in my washing machine, where the hose attaches to the outer tub. The end of the hose, inside the tub is flanged so it can't fall or be pulled out. But, underneath the flange, the side that lays flat against the inside of the drum is a thin, red, rubbery seal. It almost looks like it was squirted all around the underside of the hose flange and dried. Part of the red rubbery stuff is loose but the rest of it actually seals an sticks the underside of the hose flange to the inside of the tub. Do you have any idea what this red stuff is? I can't find it in any parts diagrams.
Thanks
