The Ice maker tray periodically becomes a frozen lump when too much water gets into the icemaker and overflows onto the ice cubes and then a small amount of water comes out the ice dispenser in the door. The door flap is closing OK and the ice maker valve shuts off OK when it fills. I have changed the diodes and valves as per your previous two suggestions. Last night all was OK but this morning the cubes were a frozen lump. No one used the ice or water dispenser overnight. What else can cause this problem?

ANSWER Hello Terry,
There are contacts inside the icemaker assembly 241642501 that could be sticking. You could have low water pressure to the water valve which can cause the icemaker to overfill because the water inlet valve is closed by water pressure only. The only other explanation would be if the unit were getting stuck in defrost, but this would also cause a high fresh food temperature complaint.
