I have an Ice maker that gets water to it and freezes and then the heating coil heats up and then cools down again in the tray without it cycling through, that is all it does. It was working then power went off in the neighborhood and when it came on, the tray started over filling with ice. Came to the conclusion that the fingers faced downward in the tray and when I finally made it so that they won't face down it stopped cycling through the cycles. Should I replace the ice maker or would it be a circuit board that would be why it isn't cycling through?
ANSWER Hello James. You need to order and replace the icemaker in the unit.
