Fridgidaire model FRS6LF7GS1 fridge: The Ice maker tray periodically becomes a frozen lump when too much water gets into the icemaker and overflows onto the ice cubes and then comes out the ice dispenser in the door. The door flap is closing OK and the ice maker valve shuts off OK when it fills and does not over fill at least when I observe it. I have changed the diodes AP3220736 as per your suggestion. Last night all was OK but this morning the cubes were a frozen lump. No one used the ice or water dispenser overnight. What else can cause this problem?
ANSWER Hello Terry. If the diode is new, and you are still having the issues, you will need to replace the water valve 242252702 on the unit.
