Similar to other questions asked, just a different model. My Frigidaire side-by-side refrigerator's ice maker is not functioning properly. The water dispenser works, but the ice maker is not getting water. I checked the water line that runs up the back of the unit and it was clear (no obstructions); however, no water is being pumped up the tube. Any ideas???
ANSWER Jim, It's more common for the fill valve 242252702 to have an issue than the ice maker 5304458371. Since the dispenser operates properly, it shouldn't be a diode or wiring issue. You can also check for voltage to the ice maker water inlet solenoid when you test cycle the ice maker to verify the ice maker contacts are proper.
