Our water dispenser works fine. The icemaker will not fill with water. I just replaced the water valve but, the unit still does not work. I thawed everything in case there was blockage. I can rotate the gears on the outside of the icemaker using a screw driver, everything moves through the cycle but it won't move on its own or pump in water. Should I replace the whole icemaker?
ANSWER Hello Scotty. Yes, if the icemaker is not sending power to the water valve, you will need to replace the icemaker.
