Hello, my dryer needs the front glide and felt. I plan to use the rear bearing kit, too, as long as I have the machine torn down.
The machine seems to run okay, and is reasonably quiet, so I'm wondering about the likelihood of the idler assembly (131863007) having problems? That is, does the idler commonly fail--the machine is 10 years old--so I'm wondering about a preemptive strike, if necessary; if not, I would prefer not to incur the cost.
Thank you for your help, and informative web site.

ANSWER Hello Bob, Generally we would not change parts just to change them but since you would be in the unit it would not be a bad idea to check to see if there is any wear. If there is wear replace parts 131863007 Idler arm and 131601000 Idler Spring. I would recommend changing spring at the same time you change Arm
