I have a Frigidaire Affinity dryer that is making a loud noise where the idler pulley is. I took the access panel off and watched and listened and does seem where the noise is coming from. It is not a squealing sound as I have others talk about. The idler pulley is moving back and forth but making the noise I believe. I'm not sure. Do I order just the pulley or other parts?
ANSWER Hello Mary,
A squeaking sound is usually caused by the rear bearing assembly 5303281153. The idler pulley can cause a noise but it usually isn't a squeaking noise because the belt will be sliding on the pulley that isn't turning.
