HELP! I was having a problem with my dishwasher showing a CL code so I ordered the latch assembly from you. Unfortunately I accidentally mixed up the black and white wires. After getting the wires hooked to it the way they are supposed to ( i think), the machine counts down like normal, but does nothing. I ordered a new control board assuming that i fried this one, but it is doing the same thing. Is it possible that I need to replace the latch again? It did spark, and singe the left front wire prong on the latch. Could it be in the harness?
It is possible that the door switch is faulty again. The CL error code indicates that the door switch is open. You will want to check the wiring between switch and control board for pinching or damage. If there is any damage then wires will need repaired. If this checks ok then you would need to replace door switch again.
