Is this limiter the humidity sensor that is supposed to shut off the heat cycle? If this part is functioning properly, what else would keep the dryer from shutting down when the load is dry?
ANSWER Hello Dick,
You need to check the high limit thermostat 5308015399 and the thermal limiter 137032600 for continuity. If they test good, the timer 5303297139 is probably the issue as there are two sets of contacts in the timer which apply voltage to the timer motor. Unless there is a harness problem, this is the logical diagnosis.
