We dropped a jar on our cook-top. I recieved a beautiful crack across the entire 30" width. Is it an easy job to replace? And are there any tips that you would have to make it easier. I consider myself to be handy.
ANSWER Hello Henry,
To replace the glass top 305379341 you would first need to turn power off to the unit. Once power is off you will have to lift the unit out of the cabinet opening. Unit may have holding brackets that you may need to remove before you can lift it out. Once you get the unit lifted out of opening then there will be screws holding the top to the burner box. Remove screws and remove knobs. There may also be screws under the knobs that would also need to be removed. Once all screws are out you just lift the top off unit and replace with new top.
