My stove top cracked. How easy is it for me to replace? My wife wants to buy a new one, but I think I can fix it with the new glass top.
To replace the glass top you will need to first turn power off to the unit. Have towels on the counter to keep from scratching the countertop. Lift unit out of installation and sit on the counter top. Remove the screws around the perimeter of the cooktop that hold the glass top in place. Once screws are out, lift glass off and remove any parts that are attached and install on the new one.
