Came home the other evening and found that sometime during the day the water inlet valve had cracked and water was spewing all over the inside of the washer, I've since replaced the water inlet valve but the washer won't turn. It will add water and act like its going through the cycles. I tried spin only and all I hear is a low buzzing from it. Could the motor suffered water damage and died?
ANSWER Hello Terry,
Either the motor has failed or the speed control has failed. If the speed control got wet then this would be the first choice. If you access tech sheet it will have tests to run to check the motor and speed control.
