Intermittently, after timing out, the dryer will not start when pressing the “start” button, but instead makes a buzzing noise. It doesn’t sound like the end of cycle buzz, but more like a malfunction buzz. I can get it to start by opening the door and turning the drum while depressing the start & holding the door switch, (not an easy task with just 2 hands.) Any ideas?
ANSWER Hello BillyBob. Make sure there is nothing causing the drum to be tight. If not, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the dryer motor 5303283288 is bad and will need to be replaced in the unit. Hope this helps.
