This dishwasher is about 4 years old but used for 3 years lightly. After water filled, wash cycle starts, however, it makes continuous noise during wash cycle. there is no sign of leaks. It seems Washer drains OK but I am not 100% sure. I pulled out the motor ( Johnson DCJ72 (4)MLG, 120v, 60hz, P/N 154793001 ) and checked any blockage with debries, there was none. Motor and impeller looked OK. I put it back, hoping no more noise, disapointments. Please tell me your expert opinion and suggestions what to do. Motor or drain pump? If motor, what is replacement P/N. If drain, what P/N. It will be appreciated very much for your earliest reply. Thank you in advance. Kenneth Model #: FGHD2433KF
ANSWER Hello Kenneth. If you disassembled the sump assembly and found nothing inside the motor impeller, then you will need to replace the motor 154844101 on the unit. Make sure nothing is in the pump A00126401 as well on the unit.
