Hi, I ran my dishwasher overnight, and woke up to it stopped in midcycle. It had a tub full of water, never reaching the rinse cycle. I replaced the timer and both thermostats. The door is latching properly, or it would not have started the night before. What am I missing? It never made any unusual sounds and always cleaned the dishes with no issues. Any help would be appreciated.
ANSWER Hello Margaret. Here is the possible issues from the manufacture. 120 volts at the supply box. Timer is bad. Motor is bad. Bad door switch. Latch not making contact with the switch. Selector switch bad. You will need to check all of these to determine which is causing the issue with the unit. The door switches are the first place to start on the unit and making sure the power to the unit is good. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
