Hi, our dishwasher model #FDB1100RHC2 is not cleaning or pumping water. It will only fill and drain. There are no blockages at the pump impeller. My concern is...the fill valve sounds different now - like not as much water is coming in as was in the past. Is there a way to check this water fill level, or is the only way to truly test the fill valve by doing a continuity check? And if the fill valve is under-filling, can that cause the main pump motor to not work? Or should the pump still be coming on independent of the water level? I guess I'm hoping that the pump (part #AP5272221) isn't the problem, since it's almost $100. Thanks!
ANSWER Hello Mike. The unit should fill to the bottom of the heater inside the tub. If not, you need to replace the water valve on the unit.
