Oven bake element not heating. All other components operational. Control panel accepts temp entry and even seems to click as if unit ready to go for baking but no heat administered to element. What are the odds it's the element itself? I don't have a multi-meter to conduct ohm checks. Was going to order part from appliance parts pros on a whim that this is the high percentage fix! Any opinions?
Testing the units power at the control board is the best way to determine which part is faulty. There should be 240 volts ac when in the bake mode between L1 and bake. It could be the element but could be the board. If there is 240 vac then the board would be what is at fault.
