So my element shorted out and burnt through, luckily burned out pretty fast but still a scary couple seconds. It looks easy enough to replace the element but it looks like it burnt a small hole in the panel directly below where it burnt the element. Do I need to replace that panel as well? Is there another way to fix it? Could it work just fine with a new element?
ANSWER Hello Michael. Most likeley, only the element will need to be replaced. It is not common to burn through the panels in the oven, but can make a small spot on them.
