After turning the oven on the main and range breakers blew. After restoring power, the stove top works but no power at all to the oven. Would the oven element be doing this? It is a frigidaire if that helps any.

ANSWER Hello Retort, I would turn off the breaker to the oven/range and check the oven elements and wiring. Perhaps a wire burned off and shorted causing the breakers to trip. You may need a new element but check the wires too. Hope this helps!
