Just got a new Frigidaire last weekend. It is very noisy. What purpuse does the button plug serve? Is it a predrilled hole for reversing the door handle?
Also, when I close the refrigerator door, the top, freezer door opens & shuts. What's the deal?
ANSWER Hello Jenny. The button plug 218074002 is used to cover the holes for reversing the handles. The door pops open and then shut due to the air being forced from the refrigerator side to the freezer side when the refrigerator door is closed. That is normal for the unit. Hope this helps.
