Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
This is a white, upper freezer, lower fridge model. There is a 1 to 1 1/2" hole in the back wall of the freezer, located in the center about 5" from the right wall of the freezer. Is there a plug for this that you can recommend. I've been looking at diagrams and can't find it. Thanks.
ANSWER Hello Rob,
I would order a fill tube (AP2058738) and fill it with silicone to prevent an air leak which would cause a frost build-up.This fill tube would then be installed into the hole and if you want, before installing it, you can cut it off so it doesn't protrude in or out of the unit. The tube only needs to be the thickness of the cabinet wall of the refrigerator.
