Older (10yrs) Kenmore stackable 27" washer dryer laundry center. Water seems to be leaking from pump onto motor cover, and, down the motor cover run off spout onto the floor upon pump out. Removed hoses pump is clean and impeller turns freely both directions from rotating bottom belt drive pulley of motor.
How does left side panel come off washer to facilitate reconnection of hoses to pump??? Took off bottom screws and interior front screw, and L bracket between dryer and washer cabinet. Side panel seems to be attached to frame or dryer cabinet in the rear top portion of panel. Is there a blow up of how to remove panels??? If not what is best way to attach hoses (ie rear output first then THE 2 PUMP HOSE FITTINGS???
THANKS FOR POST TELLING PUMP JUST PULLS OFF MOTOR. MUST BE A SEAL BEHIND FEMALE SQUARE FOR MOTOR SHAFT. THIS COULD BE LEAKING???
THANKS AND BEST WISHES
ANSWER Hello Robert, Sounds to me as though it's time to replace the pump 131208500. These pumps are not manufactured to be serviceable, only replaceable.
