Does the dran pump assembly have an electrical stwich on it that can prevent the pump from working and makes noise

ANSWER Sonny, No, the drain pump 137221600 does not have an on/off switch to stop the motor from running or that would make noise. At this point, you either have an obstruction in the pump, or a worn out pump motor.
