I have a Frigidaire side-by-side. Filter replacement light came on and no water or ice out of dispenser. Just replaced the filter (Puresource2) still no water out of dispenser and no ice either. I have reset the filter status too. Help! I need my water and ice!!
ANSWER Hi Sue. Make sure that if you pulled out the unit that the water supply line is not kinked when pushed back in and the water valve behind the fridge at the wall is fully turned on and you verify water from the line. It is imperative that the filter be completely inserted past the 2 -o rings so the filter will fill w/ water. Once done then it is important to use a small pan and release the freezer door lower water line coupler. Activate the water command and see if the water now works (draining into the pan). If not then you may need to remove and thaw out the water tank or coiled lines behind the crisper drawer. You can thaw it out under the sink w/ warm water. Make sure the settings are as close to mid point with both settings. Water filter part # WF2CB. Thank you.
