Bought this new filter for our frigidaire side by side and the water is coming out around the filter and leaking into the refrigerator...why?

ANSWER Hello SheKelia. Check and make sure the filter is seated properly into the housing and the cup is screwed all the way into the housing. If so, and it still leaks, the o-ring 218904301 may be bad and need to be replaced. Check also and make sure the housing or cup assembly is not cracked on the unit. Hope this helps.
