How do you remove the drum (shaft) from the old shell?
I have removed the pulley, but cannot pull the old shell away from the shaft.

ANSWER Hello Al. If you have the front shell removed, then the inner basket should slide out of the outer shell. If it is rusted to the bearing, you may have to use a rubber mallet to tap it out. Hope this helps.
