Okay when I hook up my propane to the range it leaks gas from the safty valve. It does not turn off even when the range is unplugged. Tried a new thermostat and this did not stop the leak. Could it be the manifold/regulator or the safety valve that is failing and allowing the gas to leak contiousely.

This would be caused by a bad safety valve coils not closing all the way.
