I have a tappan double oven. When we turn on the lower (main) oven and then try to turn on any of the stove top burners, the burners won't lite for a while as if there is air in the line that we have to bleed out. I was told it might be the gas regulator. Is there a way to adjust the regulator to compensate for this issue or do you have to just replace it.

ANSWER HI Joel . Yes, if your upper safety valve is getting "lazy" then it is in need of replacement. This part # is 3131623. Thank you.
