The icemaker stopped half way through the harvest. The circuit breaker for the refrigerator was popped and after reseting the ice maker, it never finished cycle. I manually ran it through a cycle but still nothing is happening. I bench tested the motor and it runs, but will not work when re-installed into the freezer. Has the unit just gone bad?

ANSWER Hello Brian,
I would check to make sure the ice maker is getting power. Some units will not cycle, even when forced, if the door switch is open.
