When the ice maker cycles and runs water in the water keeps running. What do I need to replace?

ANSWER Hello Cattle,
The water valve is the most likely cause but it could possibly have stuck contacts in the icemaker control head. You could disconnect water valve harness and check to see if the water stops. If it does not then you would need to replace the valve.
