My ice maker is making a kind of gring sound and the arm doesn't wire arm doesn't move. This problem started a few days ago and I was wondering if it would just be easier to replace the whole ice maker assembly, minus the tray of course.
ANSWER Hugh, In my opinion, Yes, it's always been easier and "safer" to replace the ice maker as an assembly vs. removal, dismantling and testing or replacing individual parts as needed. Hope this is helpful, and Thanks.
